NYSMPEP is a partnership between the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and the State University of New York (SUNY) formed in response to legislation in April 2008. NYSMPEP:

• Provides current, evidence-based information about pharmaceuticals
• Develops accredited continuing education programs delivered in an on-demand, web-based format
• Continually explores the use of additional educational modalities to meet the needs of NYS Medicaid prescribers
